FILMING on a new Netflix biopic about a Lancashire businessman is starting today.
Provisionally entitled 'Bank of Dave', the new film, about the life of Burnley entrepreneur Dave Fishwick, is being filmed at different locations in East Lancashire, as well as at studios in Leeds.
Hollywood actors, including Rory Kinnear, who is to play the van and minibus salesman, will descend on the area today and tomorrow, with crews pitching up at Mr Fishwick's Sabden home.
Speaking about the film earlier this month, Mr Fishwick said: "To have a global movie filmed here in Burnley about such an important part of my life, is truly amazing.
"We'll be filming inside and outside the Bank Of Dave, at my house, and in an around Burnley. There's never been a Hollywood movie filmed in Burnley before.
"I think my life will change, as it's not just going to be shown in Britain, but all around the world."
