A HARD-WORKING charity fund-raiser has announced that she is to start raising cash for the homeless at her shop.
Kathleen Ramsden, 74, who runs a charity shop in Rishton single-handedly, said the High Street store will now donate all proceeds to Nightsafe.
The Blackburn-based charity supports homeless youngsters through its shelter and also helps with projects to get them back on their feet.
Kathleen has been raising money to help children and adults with leprosy and AIDS for the past two years.
But she said she now wanted to help people in the local community.
Last year she raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Kathleen, of Victoria Street, Clayton-le-Moors, said: "I think it is time for a change and I know the great job that is done at Nightsafe."
She is a well-known charity worker in East Lancashire area, having worked for Maundy Relief in Accrington and has donated money to Nightsafe in the past.
Anyone who would like to donate goods can contact Kathleen on 01254 239246.
