A CAMPAIGN to create "neat streets" and tackle anti-social behaviour has been launched.
Hyndburn Council, the police and fire service will take to the streets of Church to talk to residents about their concerns.
The Neat Streets campaign will also see skips placed in the area for residents to dispose of general household waste.
The two-week campaign begins on Monday and aims to reduce criminal damage and anti-social behaviour crime, while increas-ing community pride and creating cleaner and safer neighbourhoods.
Alan Pearson, chairman of Church Kirk Residents' Association, said: "We have seen a steady decline in cleanliness in the area and we welcome this initiative in order to improve the environment for the benefit of all the local residents."
The event starts at 10am when representatives of all agencies will meet at Bank Street Community Centre.
