A TikTok video of world heavyweight champion boxer, Tyson Fury, shopping in a Lancashire Asda has gone viral, after he was mistaken for Ali G.
In the video, Tyson can be seen shopping in the Lancaster Asda, on Ovangle Road, while wearing a striking yellow tracksuit; he has been likened to the Sacha Baron Cohen character.
The caption reads: “Not me mistaking Tyson Fury for Ali G”.
Since being posted yesterday (15 February) the video has amassed an impressive 451,000 views with fans of the boxer flocking to comment on it.
Paris Fury, Tyson’s wife, even shared the video to her Instagram story, writing “did tell him,” with laughing faces.
Ellise Short, from Morecambe, filmed and posted the video and said she “couldn’t believe” the response it has had.
Ellise, 20, said: “I posted it while I was in Asda. I came home, had a nap and it had blown up.
“I had a load of messages and I was even on Paris’ Instagram story – I just couldn’t believe it.”
Ellise said she spotted a man in a yellow tracksuit in front of her and pointed out to her mum that he resembled Ali G.
She said: “I didn’t know it was him at first.
“I said ‘mum it’s ‘Ali G’ – she corrected me and said it was actually Tyson Fury.
“We followed him to the tills and managed to get it on video for TikTok.
“I was surprised to see such a high profile celeb in Asda!”

Ellise said it isn’t the first time she has seen Tyson, who lives in Morecambe, in and around the area.
She said: “I’ve seen him a few times in Lancaster and my brother and sister have pictures and videos with him – he has driven past my home on several occasions too.”
Hundreds of people have commented on Ellise’s video, praising the “down to earth” athlete.
One person said: “Even the world champ goes Asda to get flowers for the missus [sic].”
“Love the way he’s just casually shopping even though he’s a heavyweight champion,” said another.
A third said: “People are so shocked. I’m from Morecambe he’s not like a celeb he just walks around like a normal human.
“About to fight for west side,” another said.
Tyson is renowned for his outlandish and bold sense of style and it isn’t the first time he has worn a bold outfit.
Last year, he attended his wife’s book signing in Manchester, wearing a suit covered with colourful prints of his own face.
On another occasion, Fury dressed as DC anti-hero, Batman, for a press conference.
