People are being reminded to lock their cars after a man was seen trying a number of door handles.

Officers have reminded people to be vigilant after a reports of a male trying car handles on Dale View, Billington at about 7.30pm.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Please can you check your vehicles are locked when leaving them unattended.

“Criminals will try car handles to find one that isn't locked.”

Police are asking that anyone who has CCTV in the area and can offer more information regarding this individual send it to 5626@lancashire.police.uk
