TWINS who run a popular East Lancashire bakery shared their delight as they told their legions of fans about a new venture.

Rachel Finch and Lauren Sinclair run Finch Bakery in Queen Street, Great Harwood and have taken social media by storm for several years with their mouth-wateringly tasty treats and aesthetic approach.

Now the pair have said that they are ‘buzzing’ to announce they will be opening a pop-up store in department store Harvey Nichols, Manchester, from February 7.

Lancashire Telegraph:

They said: “Our dream return to Manchester (we used to bake in my uni flat circa 2012).

“Can’t wait to see our name in pink vinyl across a window in the city centre!

“The devil works hard but the FB team work harder (we have a stunning family of staff and real-life family helping us to facilitate this and we would be no where without you! Thank you!)

“Go on then… who’s coming to visit.”

Last year was a busy one for the entrepreneurial sisters as they managed to open a new shop and release a best-selling book.

They also both added to their clans, having a baby each.

The book 'Finch Bakery: Sweet and Simple Homemade Treats and Showstopper Celebration Cakes', which has been published by DK Publishing, includes 75 recipes for some of their most popular bakes.

Recipes include cupcakes, scones, cookies, cake balls, cake jars, tray bakes, no-bake cakes and celebration cakes.

Speaking before the release, the sisters said: “Starting out being self-taught from our parents' kitchen over five years ago, to owning our own cake shop and running our online business has been a dream for us.

“We’ve written this for all the people who have followed our bakery antics and real life since day one, those who have joined us along the way, and those who might find us and be inspired to start their own baking journey.”

The twins have over 147,000 Instagram followers and over 80,000 followers on Facebook, with people travelling from across the country to get theirs hands on some of their sweet treats.
