A main road was closed for several hours after a lorry crash.
Police closed Whalley Road in Wilpshire following a crash and were asking people to follow other routes.
At the time of the incident, a spokesperson for the police said: "We are currently at the scene of a road traffic incident on Whalley Road in Wilpshire, and the road is currently blocked.
"You may wish to consider alternative routes if your journey takes you through Wilpshire today. We will update when the road is clear."
A spokesperson for the fire service said:"At 14:21 on 27th January, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a road traffic collision on Ribchester Road, Wilpshire, Blackburn.
"The incident involved a lorry. No injuries were reported.
"Firefighters used one environmental grab pack and worked to make the scene safe. They remained in attendance for approximately one and a half hours."
