A woman who reversed her car into another vehicle while four times the drink drive limit has been banned from driving.
Annette Baines was breathalysed by police on December 5 last year after she reversed her Vauxhall Corsa into another car on Hornby Road in Longridge.
She was found to be four times the limit with 140mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath and was arrested and later charged with drink driving.
Earlier this week, Baines, 51, of Parlick Avenue in Longridge appeared before magistrates where she was disqualified from driving for two and a half years and fined a total of £442,
A spokesperson for the police said: "We are pleased to provide a result after we dealt with a drunk driver on December 5 2021, after they reversed into another vehicle and were stopped by members of the public.
"Annette Baines, 51 of Parlick Ave, Longridge was charged with drink driving and has been disqualified for two and a half years along with £442 of fines."
