The Grey Mare is one of the highest pubs in England situated on the moors of Lancashire, over 10,000ft above sea level. The pub is over 100 years old.

Here at the Grey Mare, you can enjoy tasty and traditional pub classics, homemade favourites and specials for lunch, dinner or a Sunday roast treat. Indulge in the traditional fish and chips, tuck into a handmade pie from our great selection or try one of our specials. All of our ingredients are locally sourced and dishes cooked freshly to order.

We love meeting people, it’s like a big family with all of our staff and customers who’ve stayed loyal to us for many years. It’s so nice to see people happy and enjoying themselves.

There isn’t any negatives to running a pub we absolutely love it.
