TWENTY three East Lancashire post offices are to close, bosses are expected to announce tomorrow.

Last year the Government annouced a review which could see the closure of 2,500 branches across the country.

At that time the Government said the cuts were needed because the business was making millions of pounds in losses each week.

A Post Office spokesman said they would not be issuing any comments until tomorrow.
