A BOY reported missing in Merseyside may now be in East Lancashire, police have said.
Abdullah Akram, 11, was last seen on Belvidere Road, Toxteth, at around 10am on December 28. It is thought that he may now be in Blackburn.
Following Merseyside Police's initial request to the public for information, Lancashire Police made a similar plea on social media when enquiries led them to believe that Abdullah could be in Blackburn.
It read: "Can you help our colleagues in Merseyside? It is thought Abdullah may be in the Blackburn area - have you seen him?"
Abdullah is described as being of Middle Eastern ethnicity, 4ft 10in tall with a slim build.
He was last seen wearing a black Nike tracksuit, black Adidas shoes and carrying a small satchel.
Police are urging people to pass on any sightings of Abdullah via this form: https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/ or any other information to @MerPolCC on Twitter or 101.
