From Stormtroopers to Santas, runners of all ages took part in the Rossendale Harriers annual Whinberry Naze Fell race.
The Boxing Day festivities see runners dress-up in colourful and original costumes to take on a tough course and help burn off the turkey and Christmas pudding.
Fancy dress is optional but many runners come dressed in a range of costumes.
First prize for costumes went to the runner dressed as a Pfizer jab, whilst Ken and Barbie, complete with a box, came in a very close second.
Liz McInnes, from the LT Camera Club posted these amazing pictures from the day.
She said: “I thought that the group in black and white stripes had come as Newcastle United but apparently they had all decided to dress as legendary Chorley runner Darren Fishwick. A fun day was had by all.”
