HUNDREDS of pupils from Darwen Moorland High School will get the chance to perform with a Zimbabwean band at Darwen Library Theatre tomorrow night.
The performance will be the culmination of two days of musical workshops at the school with the Hohodza Band, who were originally based in the Zimbabwean capital of Harare but were forced out because of persecution.In 1993 they became musical ambassadors.
The workshops have been organised by Darwen Music Projects. The children's perfor-mance is between 6.30pm and 7.30pmand then the band will perform their main guitar-based show.
Tickets are £2 for parents of children involved, £1 for children and £6 for all others.
