LABOURER David Shorrock, 30, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital from multiple organ failure.
An inquest heard that Mr Shorrock, of Vale Street, Blackburn, had a history of intravenous drug use, and was admitted to hospital three days before his death with bronchopneumonia and septicaemia. He died on January 14.
East Lancashire Assistant Deputy Coroner Derek Baker adjourned the hearing until April 9.
