Irish actor and comedian, Ed Byrne, is heading to an East Lancashire town for an exciting comedy night with a foodie twist.
Ed Byrne will be coming to the Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort on Holme Road, Burnley, in 2022.
However, this isn’t your ordinary stand-up show and guests will also be treated to a two course meal followed by some “seriously funny jokes”.
Ed is known as one of the finest observational comics in the industry both in the UK and internationally.
A TV household name, Ed has become well known to audiences through his BBC appearances such as Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo, Top Gear, QI and The Pilgrimage.
An avid hill walker and canoeist, Ed also writes a column for The Great Outdoors magazine.
Amanda Bailey, events co-ordinator for the Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort, said the team are looking forward to the event and say there is plenty more lined up for 2022.
She said: “We are really excited to have such a big name at the hotel.
“We have had a really positive reaction to him performing here. We’ve got quite a few bookings already and people have been getting tickets as last-minute Christmas presents before the end of the week.
“They’re excited to have a nice meal and something to look forward to at the end of the year.
“This year we have had Tom Binns, Rebecca Fergurso and Misha Paris were here as well and they were really successful evenings for us.
“We are still working on the events for 2022 and looking forward to having similar events, and even bigger names, to feature in our lovely hotel.
Amanda said the menu for the event hasn’t been finalised yet but information about it will be sent to ticketholders in the coming days.
When is the event and how can I get tickets?
The Crow Wood hotel event will take place on 20 February 2022 and will start from 6:30pm and end at around 10pm.
Tickets cost £50 and can be purchased on the Crow Wood Hotel website.
