Two Lancashire restaurants have been ranked as some of the best in the UK, according to diner reviews.
This is according to booking website, OpenTable, which compiled reviews of more than 960,000 diners to bring out a top 100 list for 2021.
The result is a selection of spots across the country that constantly serve up creative dishes, unparalleled hospitality, and one-of-a-kind dining experiences for all occasions.
According to the 2021 list, two Lancashire business secured a place on the list and they are both in Blackpool.
Michael Wan’s Wok Inn on Blackpool Promenade and Michael Wan’s Mandarin on Clifton Street both made the list.
They specialise in Asian food and have received consistently high review from Google reviewers and OpenTable reviewers alike.
Speaking about Michael Wan’s Mandarin, Catherine J wrote: “Lovely food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back!”
Another said: “Impeccable every time - consistently the best.”
One diner wrote: “The best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. Pauline and her staff treat diners like old friends.
“You won’t be disappointed. As a meat eater, I shared the vegetarian banquet on my recent visit, wow, just wow.
“The flavours in all the dishes were to die for. The aubergine Szechuan served in a clay pot, was the biggest surprise.
“It wasn’t the usual squashy mush that you come to expect but cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
“We’re certainly planning our next visit.”
