A biker has been left with serious head injuries after crashing with an Audi A6.
Police are now appealing for witnesses following the crash which happened in Freckleton on Sunday.
At about 6.22pm on Sunday December 12, an Audi A6 travelling along Kirkham Road towards Freckleton turned onto Hillock Lane and crashed with a Yamaha motorcycle.
The motorbike rider, a 20-year-old man from Greater Manchester, suffered serious head injuries and remains in hospital.
The driver of the A6 initially failed to stop at the scene but a suspect has subsequently come forward and will be spoken to in due course. The car has since been recovered.
Sgt Michael Higginson, of Lancashire Constabulary’s Road Policing Unit, said: “This collision has left a young man with some very significant injuries and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward and contact us.”
