A drunk driver was spotted travelling more than 130mph on the motorway after attending his work's Christmas do.
The driver of the VW Golf, pictured, was clocked on the M55 close to Wesham on Thursday evening.
Police noted he had reached speeds of more than 130mph, with the legal limit being 70mph.
Officers stopped the driver in Wesham where he admitted he had been to his work's Christmas do.
He was then breathalysed and provided a reading of twice the legal limit, and was subsequently arrested.
A spokesperson for the police said: "VW Golf stopped in Wesham after being sighted travelling on the M55 in excess of 130mph.
"Driver admitted they had been to their works Christmas do and provided a breath sample of twice the legal limit.
"Driver arrested."
