Camera crews descended on Clitheroe earlier this week, as filming took place for a new comedy TV show.
Filming for the Dave show, We Are Not Alone, took place yesterday (13 December) and pictures have emerged of the camera crews came to Castlegate in Clitheroe.
Ribble Valley Council had to set up temporary traffic lights in the area in order to accomodate the filming process.
The new television comedy, commissioned by comedy channel Dave, is being filmed by production company Big Talk, which was behind the recent television hit, The Outlaws as well as Channel 4's Friday Night Dinner.

The comedy is based on an alien invasion of the country and is set six weeks after the aliens beings have invaded and conquered Earth.
The comedy, which was commissioned in November, explores the culture clash between humankind and its new alien masters, who are trying to make sense of a planet so confusing and idiotic that its inhabitants can't even agree which side of the road to drive on.
It focuses on the story of a character, Stewart, a council worker who lives in Clitheroe and tries to help the aliens run the country.
Pictures of the set show a wall of missing people on Castle Street, with flowers and teddies scattered along the railings.
Ribble Valley Borough Council has liaised with Big Talk over several weeks and its senior producer Phil Leach and location manager Alex Tridimas met council leader Stephen Atkinson, leader of the opposition Stewart Fletcher and chief executive Marshal Scott last week to discuss final arrangements.
Ribble Valley Borough Council leader Stephen Atkinson said: “We are delighted to welcome Big Talk to Clitheroe to film this new comedy, which will be aired nationally next year and introduce people from across the UK to the beautiful Ribble Valley.”
Pete Thornton, who commissioned the show for UKTV, said: “The premise of this highly original special is as richly comic as it is timely.
“We've seen shows before about alien invasion, but none have grappled with how said aliens might try to govern and live alongside us after their (inevitably pathetically easy) victory.
“By observing the way we live through fresh alien eyes, Larry and Ben's remarkable script does a brilliant job of reflecting our topsy turvy world and pointing out what a bunch of idiots the human race really are - and that all things considered we might not actually be the best custodians of our increasingly fragile and damaged planet.”
A spokesperson for UKTV say the show’s cast will be announced later this week.
The comedy will air on Dave and UKTV Play in 2022.
