A MOTHER-of-one who engaged in sexual activity with a 13-year-old boy in front of two other boys has been jailed for a year.
Alexandra Tattersall, of Saxon Street, Burnley, and the three teenagers had been drinking before she took one of the boys upstairs to her bedroom, Preston Crown Court heard.
The naked pair engaged in sexual activity while the other two gave vocal encouragement.
Tattersall, 31, pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a boy and engaging in sexual activity in front of the other boys.
Miss Charlotte Holland, prosecuting, said the offences took place on December 22 2006.
The 13-year-old and his friends aged 13 and 14 bought alcohol and went to Tattersall's house.
Tattersall had also been drinking and was very drunk.
"She began behaving inappropriately lifting up her top exposing her bra to the three youths, " said Miss Holland.
After going upstairs she stripped and took off the boy's clothes.
"She kissed his lips and his chest," said Miss Holland.
The other boys watched what happened and there was vocal encouragement.
Mr Roderick Priestley, defending, said Tattersall regretted her inappropriate behaviour .
"She is not someone who has a sexual predatory interest in children," said Mr Priestley who described the case as unusual.
Judge Pamela Badley said: "You accept that you behaved completely inappropriately and you initiated the sexual activity.
"This was not for a reason of your predatory sexual interest with young people, but this was a misguided joke. The fact is that you were aware this behaviour would embarrass young people."
The offence was so serious there had to be a custodial sentence, she said.
Tattersall was jailed for 12 months and was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years.
She had initially pleaded guilty to the offence in October but a warrant was issued for her arrest after she failed to appear in court for sentencing.
Tattersall was arrested earlier this month.
