Motorists out and about next weekend should keep their eyes peeled as an entourage of Santas get set to take over the roads.
Bikers from the Ribble Valley Trail Riders Association will be taking part in the annual charity Santa Ride, travelling from Long Preston to Kettlewell in Skipton.
And Blackburn's motorcycle racing legend, Carl Fogarty, who is a patron of the association, will be jumping on the back of his bike to join them.
The last event took place in 2019 due to Covid restrictions preventing the 2020 event going ahead, but this year Carl will be taking things easy to avoid a repeat of what happened on the group's last outing.
He said: "I fell off and hurt myself on the last ride.
"I was on black ice but thought it was wet and I fell off and really damaged my finger."
This year's easy, gentle ride will pass by Malham Cove, with detailed meeting information sent to those who register to take part.
Carl added: "There's quite a lot of people registered already, but the more we have the more money we raise and this year we're raising funds for the NSPCC.
"It's quite a local thing but people from all over the county usually come and take part.
"It's not a long ride, maybe a couple of hours, but everyone is encouraged to get dressed up, and hopefully we'll have between 20 and 60 Santas riding through the countryside."
The event is open to member and non members alike, and anyone wanting to take part is asked to dress for the event and pay a £5 entry fee with all proceeds going directly to the NSPCC.
The Santa Ride will start at 10.30am from Long Preston on Sunday December 19.
