A thief who got a suspended jail term for stealing from and assaulting his grandma is facing prison after stealing from her again.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Andrew Spencer, 25, got the suspended sentence after admitting helping himself to the 66 year old victim's vacuum cleaner and for battery.
He got four months, suspended for two years.
The defendant, of Reed Street, Burnley, has now admitted theft again - of his grandma's vacuum cleaner.
Spencer was bailed until February 5 and the bench told him they were not ruling out custody. He must live and sleep at his given address, not contact the victim and must stay away from Hufling Lane.
