A Christmas tree festival and a whole heap of festive fun is set to be had at St Marys church in Mellor.
The church group are hosting a three day event, beginning on Friday December 3 with a mince pie and mulled wine evening. between 7pm and 9.30pm.
There will be about 30 trees inside the church which have been decorated by church groups and local businesses.
The trees can be decorated in any way and can represent the business of group which decorated.
The last event was hosted about four years ago and one of the organisers, Joan Moss is looking forward to its return.
She said: "It's fantastic to see how many ways trees can be decorated.
"It's been a particularly difficult few years and it takes you head some time to get around organising events again.
"But it will be lovely to have the event back again and see all the trees."
The following day, Saturday, December 4, the church will be open to visitors from 10am until 4pm, with Father Christmas set visit the church at about 2pm.
On Sunday, a festival of lights will be hosted, with the church open from 1pm until 4pm.
All funds raised will be put towards the church.
