Police have arrested two people following a burglary at a Burnley games store.
The theft happened at the Grayco Retro Games store, Yorkshire Street, on Friday night (19 November).
Police said thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused and thousands of pounds worth of items were stolen.
The store posted a video of the damage caused during the burglary and owner Damien Ellison said: “All the damage and everything they stole, I am so gutted but it won't defeat me.”
The store only opened in December 2020 and houses a range of classic games and consoles. Initial enquiries were conducted which identified one of the suspects responsible. Police quickly located the suspect who was in possession of a small amount of the stolen property.
Daniel Shaw, 39, has since been charged and remanded for burglary and remains in custody. Officers have conducted further enquiries and located the remaining stolen goods at an address on Padgate Place, Burnley.
Another man has been arrested for handling stolen goods and is currently in custody awaiting interview.
