The Met Office has predicted that there could be some snow in Lancashire from the end of November as we head into the festive period.
Next week's forecast is set to get chillier and bring some frost to the county, due to high pressure being close to western or southwestern parts of the UK from Tuesday November 23.
The Met said this could bring to a colder than average north or northwesterly airflow for a time.
Across northern area of Lanashire, there is a likelihood of rain and snowfall across higher ground until December 2, which could reach lower levels at times.
With snow in the forecast for East Lancashire in the coming weeks, you should think about making alternative commuting plans and alternative childcare plans, in case of school or nursery closures.
