DRINKS with nautical links are on offer at the fourth Pendle Beer Festival.
Real ale including Adnams' Broadside, Titanic Iceberg and Milestone Black Pearl are just a few on offer for the All At Sea theme, which coincides with Colne Heritage Centre's exhibition about The Titanic and Wallace Hartley.
Wallace Hartley, from Colne, led the band who tried to calm the passengers on the Titanic by playing hymns after it had hit the iceberg. He went down with the ship.
The festival runs from 6pm to 11pm on Thursday January 31, noon to 11pm on Friday, February 1 and Saturday February 2, at the Muni in Albert Road, Colne.
Entry is £2 per day and drinks tickets are available.
Themed food and live music will be running on all three days.
Last year the beer festival, run entirely by volunteers, saw 1,900 people through the doors.
The official charity for Pendle Beer Festival for 2008 will be Pendleside Hospice, which helps meet the needs of people with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses in the Burnley and Pendle area.
