TWO classrooms were damaged by smoke after a fire broke out at Darwen Vale High School this morning.
Two fire engines were called to the school in Blackburn Road, Darwen, at 7.58am.
A hose reel and ventilation unit was used to put out the flames.
No one had to be evacuated from the building as the school had not yet opened to pupils.
