It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Especially as Father Christmas coming to town and making his way around Lancashire early this year.

The Christmas countdown officially begins on November 28, which is the first day of advent and there are lots of events in the area that are perfect for a family day out.

We can’t think of anything better than visiting Santa in his Grotto, but there are also lots of Christmas markets and theatre shows you can see too.

Christmas Grotto at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Farmer Christmas at Farmer Teds

Walk through Santa’s winter wonderland from the Animal Barn and see where his elves make all the toys, and even where Santa sleeps too.

Say hi to Santa and his reindeer, before relaxing in the Christmas Cinema or having a go at gingerbread decorating.

Christmas Markets at Heskin Hall

Visit Heskin Hall to see its outdoor cabins and artisan stalls. Grab a mulled wine or brockwurst, whilst enjoying the choral festival, children's rides, entertainment and visit from Father Christmas.

Santa's Grotto Winter Gardens Wonderland
