Michelin-star chef, Nigel Haworth, has confirmed when the highly-anticipated Three Fishes pub will be opening.
In his most recent update video, Nigel said that The Three Fishes in Mitton will officially be opening on 12 November – and you can make your reservation right now.
Nigel Haworth said: “Seemingly now as we get closer to our opening, every day brings big changes to how The Three Fishes looks, gradually members of our team will begin joining us and we’ll begin taking those final steps towards opening.
“Thank you all for your patience, we’ve had to jump many a hurdle to get to where we are but without your support we wouldn’t have managed it.”
In his update video which was posted at the end of October, Nigel also gave us a look at the Three Fishes and how much it has progressed.
He said: “The site is looking a lot more complete… [but] there’s still quite a lot of untidying and unpacking to do.”
On the outside, the pathway into The Three Fishes has been resin bound and the circular base for the on site pear tree has been laid.
Nigel also showed fans the modern-looking coffee station complete with a coffee bean grinder.
“Sturdy” shelving has been put up in the pot wash area and Nigel also gave fans a look a the intimate dining area before it is filled with furniture.
Arguably, the kitchen has undertaken the biggest transformation with low-hanging lights and stainless steel counter tops.
Nigel said: “They’re all unwrapping everything today and you can see the kitchen looks rather sparkly.”
A pastry and commis chef can be spotted in the video unwrapping some brown uniforms which are fresh from the box.
Taking us into the preparation area, Nigel reveals that the kitchen will be filled with a variety of technology, several ovens, fridges and freezers.
The kitchen is also fitted with a FlexiChef, a top of the range appliance which allows you to cook, fry, deep fry or cook high speed all in one appliance.
Haworth also unveiled a back-up ice cream maker which is on reserve if the main one breaks.
Many fans are excited about the update and eager to book their own table at the Mitton restaurant.
One person wrote: “Nigel, it’s looking amazing. We really cannot wait to come, see and experience it once again under your amiable stewardship.
“Good luck with pushing it on to completion & hopefully see you there really soon.”
“It’s looking absolutely fantastic, said another “can’t wait to visit!”
Nelly Robinson said: “The kitchen is spot on.”
