TRIBUTES have been paid to a woman who ran a fruit and vegetable stall who has died.
Gaynor McCaffrey of Cornwall Road, Rishton, passed away suddenly but peacefully in hospital on September 16.
During her life, Gaynor held a variety of jobs including working as a secretary at a driving school in Blackburn.
She was also a radiographer at the Royal Blackburn Hospital and even ran a fruit and vegetable stall on Clitheroe market.
Previously the 65-year-old was also a factory worker at EW Cartons and worked as a teaching assistant at St James’s Primary School.
In her spare time, she enjoyed doing Aqua Jog, going for days out and lunch with friends, as well as holidays to Spain with her family.
She was also a member of the School Friends Association at St Peter and St Paul’s School and helped as a kitchen assistant at St Peter & St Paul’s Church in her home town of Rishton.
Gaynor sadly leaves her dearly loved husband Stephen, her much loved children William, Elizabeth and Catherine.
She will be missed by her treasured grandchildren Alisha, Harvey, Ashton, Matilda, Molly, Clayton, Niamh, Abigail, Kenzi, Layla and Cody and her dear sister Susan.
She will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
Donations are being gratefully received in memory of Gaynor for the Alzheimer’s Society or the Adoption Matters Charity.
