An East Lancashire theme park has been named as the best for famillies to visit this Halloween.
As part of its Best Value Theme Park Report, the personal finance experts at money.co.uk have compiled a list of the most affordable theme parks to visit in 2021 for a day of frightful fun.
From fear-seekers looking to get their adrenaline fix at one of the terrifying scare mazes, to families searching for a child-friendly Halloween adventure - the UK’s theme parks have events to suit everyone.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s ‘Journey to Hell’ topped the list, beating every other theme park in the UK.
In the chilling event, Blackpool Pleasure Beach takes you forwards in time to the year of 2146, where a terrifying curse has taken over the theme park.
Taking place on select nights after the park is closed, daredevils can explore the variety of petrifying scare zones, including the ‘Day of the Dead, the BIG Dark Abyss, the Legend of the Cursed River Caves’ and of course enjoy some of the parks high-intensity, adrenaline-inducing rides.
Tickets for the event cost £32 if you book online in advance and the event runs until 31 October.
However, the company’s study also shows that Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a fantastic little theme park all year around as the study shows that it is actually one of the best in the world.
According to the study, it is the 26th best value theme park in the entire world – and the best in the UK.
Costs work out at an average of £3.42 per ride and there are 38 attractions to enjoy at the Lancashire theme park.
