SUMMER is far behind us and weather forecasters says snow is set to hit parts of the UK later this week.
It’s also time to get our winter coats out as it’s predicted to feel noticeably colder from tomorrow onwards.
The Met Office has warned of “wintry showers” in northern parts of the UK with wind and rain set the batter other parts of the nation.
According to the Met Office, temperatures will begin to fall to below average for most areas across the UK “increasing the likelihood of snow and wintry conditions over higher ground restricted to northern areas.”
The Met Office has predicted that parts of the UK will see snow from Thursday (21 October).
However, is snow on the cards for Lancashire?
