A brand new show sees former Corrie favourite, Beverley Callard and Burnley's very own Jordan North team up to explore Spain together.
The unexpected friendship between 64-year-old Beverley and 31-year-old Jordan, blossomed when they both appeared in last year's series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – filmed in a castle in Wales.
And they got on so well, that they went on to film a travel series together for ITV.
Beverley and Jordan: Destination Wedding sees the pair head to Spain, where they immerse themselves in local culture, while also planning for a very special day at the end of the series (Beverley is renewing her wedding vows with husband Jon).
Beverley said: "I was quite nervous about it because Jordan is a presenter and is so good at it, and I’m not a presenter at all.
“I’m used to learning the lines and doing other people’s work.”
When lockdown got in the way of Beverley and Jon renewing their vows last year, ITV suggested they film it for the show, with Jordan organising the ceremony.
And as they travelled round Spain together, Jordan picked items from the different regions for the wedding.
Meanwhile, Beverley threw in some hair-raising experiences for her and Jordan, whose phobias of basically everything led to some very memorable moments on I’m A Celeb.
Jordan said: "I don’t want to give too much away, but we might have done some paragliding.
"The director said he’s never heard a blood-curdling scream quite like it.
"Beverley got stuck in as well. She’s a very strong-willed and determined lady and I hope people get to see that.”
And with none of the show being scripted, and no stylists on hand, viewers will get to see the duo at their best, and worst, with Beverley describing herself as 'looking like a Crufts champion for the duration'.
Jordan added: "It’s the same people that made I’m A Celeb, so it wasn’t glamorous. I’ve got the best picture of Beverley on the side of the motorway eating a sandwich between filming.
"There were no people doing touch-ups on the side. You’ll see us literally getting out of the sea.”
Beverley continued: "Not a pretty sight.
"I can remember getting out and thinking, ‘Oh my god, I look a disaster’. I used to be a bit of a sex symbol – that has gone.”
The programme will aim to show viewers a side of Spain they never knew about, with Beverley and Jordan travelling 900 miles from Santander in the north right down to the south.
And during their drives, the pair experience some deep conversations, moving moments and heart-to-hearts.
Jordan said: "The producers have basically said they could make a series of just us nattering in the car.
“We’d seen it in the castle, so we knew already; Beverley is the funniest and most heart-warming lady, and she genuinely cares about people."
Beverley added: "With Jordan, what you see is what you get. He’s very genuine and I think that’s why he’s so wonderful at his job because it comes through the mic.”
But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s good at public speaking – at least not when it came to Beverley's vow renewal anyway, as Jordan confesses his speech at the ceremony was a disaster.
He said: "I got flustered. I tripped up over my words, I got all the names wrong.”
The duo’s chemistry is certainly not just for the screen and they would definitely love to work together again, with Jordan saying they'd like to focus on another country.
He continued: “I’d love to do America. But I think we’d have fun in Portugal, Greece, Germany, France… The world’s our oyster.”
Beverley and Jordan: Destination Wedding starts on ITV on Wednesday, October 20.
