A phone box has been smashed to smithereens by a group of teens.
Officers in Preston photographed the criminal damage which was done to this phone box on Broadgate, at the bottom of Fishergate Hill in the city.
Police say the incident took place on Wednesday night and are now carrying out CCTV investigations to identify those responsible.
A spokesperson for the police said on Thursday: "Last night we received reports of youth anti social behaviour and criminal damage which was caused to this phone box on Broadgate.
"The group responsible were aged between 13 and 16-years-old.
"Please speak to your children about the consequences of their actions.
"An investigation is currently ongoing, we are reviewing CCTV in the area to identify those responsible."
