TWO men were taken to hospital after their car flipped into a field on the A59 at Samlesbury.
The incident occurred at approximately 3am on Monday close to the Tickled Trout hotel, just off junction 31 of the M6.
Police said one man suffered suspected spinal injuries, while the other had swelling around his right eye. The pair were taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
The road was shut for almost five hours while police recovered the vehicle from the field. Traffic was redirected through the nearby BP garage which has its own separate slip-road.
