Police pulled a driver after a battered and smashed-up car was seen travelling on the motorway.
On Sunday afternoon, officers spotted the vehicle, which looked like it should've been written off, travelling on the M6.
The vehicle was deemed unroad-worthy and the driver ordered to carry out repairs.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This car was taken off the M6 earlier after being sighted by a patrol.
"Vehicle prohibited with immediate effect and will not be allowed back on the road until repairs are carried out."
