A major crisps manufacturer is looking to take on staff at their Lancashire base.

Walkers crisps, which produces household favourites Monster Munch, Snak a Jacks and Walkers Baked, are hoping to recruit a number of people to fill vacancies in their manufacturing department at their Skelmersdale site.

The roles on offer are both permanent and temporary, and bosses at the firm say with demand for their tasty snacks growing year-on-year, they're in need of more staff.

A spokesperson for the company said: "Walkers is looking to fill a number of roles in the Skelmersdale area – both temporary and permanent.

"Walkers’ Skelmersdale site is home to Walkers crisps, Monster Munch, Walkers Baked and Snack A Jacks, with demand for these products continuing to grow over the past year.

"The company is therefore looking to hire a number of roles in food manufacturing to support this growth, providing full training on the job and with no experience required."

There are more than 50 permanent roles and more than 50 temporary roles in food manufacturing for Walkers crisps and snacks, with all positions looking for immediate starters.
