A PROLIFIC pervert who "flashed" at a woman two months after being sentenced for similar offences has been jailed for 35 weeks.
Brian Bleasdale, 56, had a catalogue of sex offences going back more than 40 years to his name and his record included assaulting young girls and exposing himself to college students, Burnley Crown Court heard.
Bleasdale, who was said to have learning difficulties and did not care about his victims, flashed at passers-by from the window of his home. He claimed his latest victim directly opposite Moorhead High School, Accrington and also flouted the Sex Offenders Register.
The defendant, now of St Ledger Court, Accrington, admitted exposure and breaching the Sex Offenders Register.
Sentencing, Judge Norman Wright said the court had taken an extremely lenient course by giving Bleasdale a community order when he last appeared.
The judge told the defendant: "I don't think you appreciate, and I wish you would, how serious your behaviour is. You seem to be motivated purely by your own sexual gratification, without any thought for the impact of your behaviour on the victims."
