THE FUEL crisis has continued today as people travel from petrol station to petrol station in order to fill up their tank.
Even some of the famous faces in the region have been struggling – including Britain’s largest family.
The Radford family posted to Instagram explaining that they were unable to find fuel for their car after tanks in the surrounding area had dried up.
Posting to their Instagram story, the Morecambe family wrote: “Just thought I’d go out and put some diesel in but nope – sold out.”
However, they have their sights set on next month when they can get their brand new hybrid vehicle.
They wrote: “Roll on next month when we get out hybrid car because I bet people with electric cars are feeling pretty smug right now.”
Sue, mum-of-22, was treated to a brand new Range Rover this year which she received for her 46th birthday from husband Noel.
Back in March, she shared a snap of the car writing that she is “so incredibly lucky to have such an amazing hubby who works so hard for us all”.
Back in August, Noel confirmed that the family would be getting a new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Quarzite which is “greener” than your standard vehicle.

The Radfords aren’t the only North West celebrities to have made a comment about the current fuel shortages.
Bury-born BBC news presenter, Victoria Derbyshire, has been making various serious comments about the issue.
In a Tweet she wrote: “No government ministers are available for interview today, for us to ask about fact that the government does, after all, have plans to bring in the army to drive fuel tankers to petrol forecourts if they’re needed.”
