With travel rules set to change from early in October, there will undoubtedly be people looking to take a last-minute holiday abroad to enjoy some warmer weather.
The green and amber list of countries people will be scrapped on October 4, leaving just a single red list of countries.
Even those numbers are decreasing, with eight having come off it on September 22, including Turkey, Egypt and the Maldives.
Travel Supermarket have put together a list of last-minute destinations for you to sneak off to in the coming weeks, all departing from Manchester airport.
If you fancy heading to the Algarve as part of that, then you will need to take a test before entry, even if you have had both jabs of the Covid vaccine.
Emma Coulthurst from Travel Supermarket said: “We are all able to go on a very very late summer holiday. It is the biggest of hoorays to people being able to dip their toes back in the overseas holiday waters in late September and October.”
