A man has been arrested for numerous driving offences including perverting the course of justice.
Following reports of a small white car driving dangerously close to Worden Park in Leyland on Tuesday, police attended and found a two vehicle crash in which one of the drivers had ran from the scene.
Following investigations, a man was located and arrested on suspicion of careless driving, perverting the course of justic and failing to report an accident.
A spokesperson for the police said: "The area around Worden Park is busy with families and students going about their daily business, driving to such a poor standard will not be tolerated.
"If anyone has any further information regarding this or dash cam footage please contact 101 and quote 0580 of September 21."
