A multi-agency rescue mission has taken place to save a walker who fell over 100 feet.
Police, mountain rescue, the ambulance service, air ambulance and coastguard all joined together to help the person who fell near Dunsop Bridge, Ribble Valley.
The walker fell over 100 feet before crawling to safety and calling for help.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Crack multi-agency rescue today near Dunsop Bridge between police, Bowland and Pennine Mountain Rescue, NWAS Helimed and HM Coastguard for the safe treatment and extraction of a walker who’d fallen over 100ft before crawling to safety and requesting help.”
