A fire broke out in Blackburn town centre.
Two fire engines were called to Clayton Street this afternoon (September 20) to a fire just outside the former John's Snooker and Pool Bar.
A pile of waste wood was alight and crews used a hose reel and a jet to extinguish the fire.
Crews were on the scene for 25 minutes.
The smoke could be seen across the town centre and Wainwright Way.
