A STRETCH of motorway has now reopened following a serious incident.
The M65 eastbound carriageway was closed at around 8.40am this morning following a crash between junction 10 for Burnley and junction 12 for Nelson.

Police, firefighters and paramedics attended.
A police spokesman said: "We have had to close the M65 between junctions 10 and 12 eastbound due to a Road Traffic Collision. Cars are currently being diverted off the exit slip road at junction 10. Please avoid the area where possible, to assist emergency vehicles in attendance. We will provide an update once the motorway is open. Thank you."
The road has now reopened.
