MEMBERS of all faiths are invited to attend an annual ceremony to remember victims of the Holocaust.
The remembrance service on the steps of Blackburn Town Hall, King William Street, is in conjunction with National Holocaust Memorial Day.
This year's theme is 'remember, reflect and react' and is on January 27 from 2pm.
Chair of the local Interfaith Council, Derek Estill, will open the ceremony and Rev Leslie Olsberg or Rabbi Arnold Saunders will give the main address.
Multi-faith prayers will be offered by a member of each of the different faiths represented on the Interfaith Council.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Maureen McGarvey and Ann Law-Riding, and consort Patrick McGarvey will also attend the service, along with the leader of the Council, Councillor Colin Rigby and chief executive Graham Burgess.
Following the Mayor's closing address there will be a lighting of candles ceremony in the town hall.
