A 91-year-old woman died after a fall at her home in which she suffered head and hip injuries, an inquest was told.
The inquest heard that Mahabi Bibi, of Accrington Road, Blackburn, was not fit to undergo surgery for either injury, her condition deteriorated and she died.
The medical cause of death was given as haematoma due to head injury with a fractured neck of femur contributing.
The hearing was adjourned.
