Plane-spotters in Lancashire will be able to spot the Red Arrows this weekend as they fly over the region once again.
The aircraft will be stopping off at Blackpool Airport on Saturday before departing again on Sunday.
It’s not the first time the aircraft have visited the region this summer; the RAF aerobatic aircrafts flew over the region at the end of August in preparation for one of their airshows at the Isle of Man.
If you missed it then, now is the perfect chance to finally see the aircraft take off and land.
A spokesperson for The Red Arrows said: “The team are currently planning on staying at Blackpool on Saturday evening.
“The team are once again using Blackpool as a staging airport to enable them to most efficiently carry out flypasts in the region.”
Many people are excited about the arrival of the aircraft.
One person tagged their friend and wrote: “Luna will get to see them after all”.
Another said: “I love the Red Arrows”.
Another person explained that they can see the RAF planes before heading towards Blackpool Tower to watch the World Fireworks Competition.

When and where can I see the RAF planes in Blackpool?
According to Blackpool Airport, the Red Arrows will be back for a “quick stop off” at Hangar 3 at Blackpool Airport.
They will be arriving on Saturday 11 September at 16:18 and departing on 12 September at 10:14.
A spokesperson also explained exactly where avid plane spotters can see the aircraft.
They said: “The airport isn’t open to the general public but you can catch a glimpse of them at the perimeter fence near Morrisons or from our lovely sand dunes at Squires Gate!”
Who are The Red Arrows?
The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, are a team of aerobatic aircraft fliers who are currently based in Scampton.
Their aim is to showcase the excellence of the RAF and also inspire people of all ages and backgrounds with a display of precision and teamwork, both in the air and on the ground.
For the latest season, Squadron Leader Tom Bould is the team leader.
He said: “It is an honour to be leading the Red Arrows for the 2021 display season, which will be my first as Team Leader.
“My team and I will be showcasing, across the UK and overseas, a world-leading aerobatic display – representing the best of British.
“Months of hard work and preparation, by pilots and support personnel, go into a Red Arrows performance that will both uphold, and build upon, the distinguished history and legacy of our predecessors.
“However, the pride and privilege of creating such a show – aimed at inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds – is a perfect motivator.”
