A Bacup woman who was more than three times the drink-drive limit has been given a suspended jail term.
Pauline Amanda Hayes, 46, received 180 days in prison, suspended for 18 months, with the drink impaired drivers programme and supervision.
She was banned for 32 months.
The defendant, of Douglas Road, Bacup, had been convicted of drink driving last April, after a trial.
Burnley Magistrates heard Hayes gave a sample showing 276 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of blood - the legal limit is 80. She had no previous convictions.
The bench told her she had posed a risk to both road users and pedestrians.
The sentence was meant to punish her and protect the public.
