A man has been charged with a firearm offence after two imitation guns were found inside a house.
Police were called at 1.10pm on Saturday September 4 after receiving reports of a disturbance at a property on Park Road in Ramsbottom.
Specialist officers attended and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
Two imitation firearms were recovered from the address and made safe by officers.
Following the arrest and subsequent interview, Richard Bebbington, 36, of Park Road, Ramsbottom was charged with two counts of possession an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Bebbington was remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday (today).
