HIGH-powered cars with a total value of more than £100,000 have been snatched in a series of raids in recent weeks.
The thefts have occurred across the Ribble Valley and police are warning drivers to keep their keys in a secure place overnight.
The first theft was on December 22 when a BMW M3 and Volkswagen R32 together worth £86,000 were stolen outside a house in Edisford Road, Waddington.
Sgt Rob Evans, of Clitheroe police, said thieves had snatched the keys from inside the house before making off with the vehicles.
The Volkswagen was later found abandoned in Colne, while the BMW was recovered in Keighley.
A Volkswagen GTI worth £13,000 was stolen on Saturday evening from an address in Clitheroe and a £20,000 BMW 5-series was taken from Ramsgreave on Monday.
Sgt Evans said: "I would advise anyone with high- powered cars to put their keys somewhere safe at night."
